Terms of use

In short: this is a free community site. Be decent in the
channel, follow Undernet's rules, and understand that everything is provided as is, by volunteers.
About these terms
These terms cover your use of undernet.xyz and of the #Canada channel on Undernet. By using
either, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use them.
Who runs this
The site and the channel are run by volunteers on the #Canada channel team. We are
not Undernet and we do not speak for it. "Undernet" and related names belong to
their respective owners and are used here only to describe where the channel is.
Using the channel
- Follow the #Canada channel rules.
- Follow Undernet's acceptable use policy.
It applies to everyone on the network, and Undernet enforces it separately from us.
- Don't use the channel or the bot for anything illegal under Canadian law.
- Channel operators may warn, silence, kick or ban anyone to keep the channel usable. They may
do this without warning when it's needed. Use
!ops or ask an operator if you think a
decision was a mistake.
What you post
You're responsible for what you write. The channel is public: assume anything you type can be
read, and logged, by anyone present. Don't share passwords or private information about yourself or
others. Only ever send your X password to x@channels.undernet.org.
Other sites and software
We link to IRC clients, web clients, Undernet and CService so you can get connected. We don't
run those services or make that software, and we're not responsible for them. Download software only
from the official sites we link to, and read their own terms.
The site's code
The website's source code is on
GitHub
under the MIT license. The bot script,
lmao.tcl,
is under GPLv3.
No warranty
The site, the channel and the bot are provided free, "as is", with no warranty of any kind. They
may be unavailable, change or stop at any time. To the extent the law allows, the #Canada team is not
liable for any loss or damage from using them. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under
consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
Privacy
See the privacy policy and the cookie policy.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and the full history is
public on GitHub. For questions, open an issue on
GitHub
or ask a channel operator in #Canada.
These terms are governed by the laws that apply in Canada.

À propos de ces conditions
Ces conditions s'appliquent à ton utilisation d'undernet.xyz et du canal #Canada sur Undernet. En
utilisant l'un ou l'autre, tu les acceptes. Si tu ne les acceptes pas, ne les utilise pas.
Qui s'en occupe
Le site et le canal sont gérés par des bénévoles de l'équipe du canal #Canada. Nous ne sommes
pas Undernet et ne parlons pas en son nom. « Undernet » et les noms associés
appartiennent à leurs propriétaires respectifs et ne servent ici qu'à indiquer où se trouve le canal.
Utilisation du canal
- Respecte les règles du canal #Canada.
- Respecte la politique d'utilisation acceptable
d'Undernet (en anglais). Elle s'applique à tout le réseau, et Undernet la fait respecter indépendamment de nous.
- N'utilise pas le canal ni le robot pour quoi que ce soit d'illégal en droit canadien.
- Les opérateurs du canal peuvent avertir, rendre muet, expulser ou bannir quiconque pour que le
canal reste agréable. Ils peuvent le faire sans avertissement au besoin. Utilise
!ops
ou parle à un opérateur si tu crois qu'une décision est une erreur.
Ce que tu publies
Tu es responsable de ce que tu écris. Le canal est public : considère que tout ce que tu tapes peut
être lu, et journalisé, par toute personne présente. Ne partage ni mot de passe ni renseignement privé
sur toi ou sur d'autres. N'envoie ton mot de passe X qu'à x@channels.undernet.org.
Autres sites et logiciels
Nous renvoyons vers des clients IRC, des clients web, Undernet et CService pour t'aider à te
connecter. Nous n'exploitons pas ces services, ne produisons pas ces logiciels et n'en sommes pas
responsables. Télécharge les logiciels uniquement depuis les sites officiels indiqués et lis leurs propres conditions.
Le code du site
Le code source du site est sur

sous licence MIT. Le script du robot,
lmao.tcl,
est sous licence GPLv3.
Aucune garantie
Le site, le canal et le robot sont offerts gratuitement, « tels quels », sans aucune garantie. Ils
peuvent être indisponibles, changer ou cesser à tout moment. Dans la mesure permise par la loi,
l'équipe de #Canada n'est pas responsable des pertes ou dommages liés à leur utilisation. Rien dans ces
conditions ne limite les droits que te confèrent les lois sur la protection du consommateur auxquels
on ne peut renoncer.
